Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and mark the wooden block: mark a 45-degree angle on one of the longer edges to create a slanted surface for the phone to rest on.
2. Cut the block along the marked line to create the angled front.
3. Sand all edges and surfaces smoothly, starting with medium grit sandpaper and finishing with fine grit to avoid splinters.
4. Using the drill and 8mm bit, drill a shallow hole (about 1/2 inch deep) near the bottom edge of the angled surface to serve as a cable holder slot.
5. (Optional) Apply wood finish or oil to protect the wood and enhance its appearance. Let it dry according to the product instructions.
6. Place your smartphone on the angled surface; thread your charging cable through the drilled hole to keep it organized while charging.
7. (Optional) Use a small piece of wood glued underneath to add stability if needed.
