Upcycled Tote Bag from Old T-Shirts

Transform your old T-shirts into a stylish and eco-friendly tote bag. This project is perfect for beginners and a great way to repurpose clothing you no longer wear.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Lay the T-shirts flat and cut off the sleeves and neckline to create the bag opening.
2. Turn the T-shirts inside out and place one on top of the other, aligning the bottoms.
3. Sew the sides together, leaving the top open for the bag opening.
4. For the handles, cut strips from the remaining fabric of the T-shirts. Make them as long or short as you prefer.
5. Attach the handles to the inside of the bag by sewing them securely.
6. Turn the bag right side out and iron if necessary. Add any optional embellishments.
7. Your tote bag is ready to use!
