Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and cut the wooden planks to the desired lengths for the bench top and legs.
2. Sand all edges and surfaces of the cut pieces to smooth out any rough spots.
3. Assemble the bench top by laying the planks side by side and securing them together with wood screws and wood glue.
4. Cut the leg pieces to the desired height (usually around 18 inches).
5. Attach the legs to the corners of the bench top using wood screws, ensuring they are level and secure.
6. If desired, apply wood stain or paint to the bench for aesthetic appeal.
7. Once dry, apply an outdoor sealant if the bench will be used outdoors.
8. Allow the bench to dry completely before using it.
