Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace and wear protective gloves and mask.
2. If you don't have a silicone mold, create one using a plastic container or DIY mold with painter’s tape.
3. Arrange your decorative elements inside the mold as desired.
4. Measure equal parts of epoxy resin and hardener according to the instructions.
5. Mix the resin and hardener slowly in a mixing cup for at least 3 minutes to avoid bubbles.
6. Pour the resin mixture slowly into the mold, covering the decorative items fully.
7. Use a heat gun or torch carefully to pop any surface bubbles.
8. Allow the resin to cure fully as per product instructions (usually 24-48 hours).
9. Once cured, remove the resin block from the mold.
10. Sand any rough edges with sandpaper, starting with coarse and moving to fine grit for a smooth finish.
11. Drill a hole near the base of the resin block for the lamp cord.
12. Assemble the lamp kit by threading the cord through the hole and attaching the socket.
13. Attach the lampshade and screw in the bulb.
14. Test the lamp and place it on your table for a custom decorative light.
