Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Lay down newspaper or plastic sheet to protect your working surface.
2. Clean the terra cotta pots with a damp cloth and let them dry completely.
3. Use painter's tape to mask off any areas you want to keep unpainted or to create sharp patterns.
4. Paint your desired designs on the pots using acrylic paints. Consider geometric patterns, stripes, or floral motifs.
5. Let the paint dry completely, which may take 30 minutes to an hour.
6. Add additional coats if necessary for vibrant colors, letting each coat dry.
7. Once fully dry, carefully remove any painter's tape.
8. (Optional) Spray the pots with a clear acrylic sealer to protect the paint from chipping and weathering.
9. Let the sealer dry as per instructions before using the pots for planting.
